Scarves and Hats by Serger

Scarves and hats made from thermal knits a friend gave me.

I made enough for all of the children's school friends and cousins --

about 4 dozen sets.  They were made entirely with the serger.

Aaron's and Ethan's Robes and Slippers

Navy corduroy robes.

I made matching slippers for both grandsons.

Ethan was so delighted with his slippers,

he wanted to wear them to bed. 

"But Grandma said they are 'bed slippers'!" he said. 

"Grandma said they are 'bedroom slippers',"

his mother told him. 

"So you wear them in your room, not in your bed." 

"Oh," said Ethan in a disappointed voice. 

He put his slippers on the floor beside his bed and climbed in.
