I don't remember what this fabric is called, but it was a big, bad mistake.  After sewing a seam, all you have to do is pull on it slightly, and it comes right apart, leaving a nice wide fringe of what used to be fabric.  I tried using my scallop stitch on the yoke ruffle, and the entire edge came right off in my hand.  They did look pretty at the Christmas program, though!
