In May of 1994, we were going to take a trip to Mexico, and the children needed more pajamas and nightgowns. So I pulled out some pieces of coordinating single knits and some thin cottons, and, working all day and all night, made Keith, 4, Hannah, 3, Dorcas, 22 months, and Teddy, 9 months, four sets of pjs or nightgowns apiece. Here are Teddy and Hannah:
Teddy loved to suck his thumb whilst holding a favorite blankie and rubbing it between his fingers or on his face. Here, we were bringing all our things into a motel room, and his blankie was still out in the car. He made do with a sock.
